October 6, 2013

Despite assurances to the contrary, it's going to be a short and sweet one today. We had a four-month old yelling at us all night, and since we have a job coupled with a biological need to sleep we're not about to take an hour to write some drivel that no one will read anyway. Our government shutdown edition of The Playhouse will have to wait until our actual adult responsibilities dissipate. On an unrelated note, if anyone knows of a reliable adoption service, please feel free to contact us via Twitter.

The Super Play came up a bit short last night, making it two consecutive losses after a 4-1 start. Even in a somewhat controversial loss (It most likely wasn't a catch, but the replay was inconclusive), Washington is far better than we thought. The Crew looks forward to making the two-mile trek to campus this week to check out Gameday (Samantha Ponder) before Saturday's matchup with Oregon. It looks like it will open at 10.5. If we can get some of that hook, we'll be all over the Huskies.

A couple very brief thoughts before getting to the Super Play of the Day...

It's going to be a cluster fuck at the end of the year, with it being very possible that seven teams could be undefeated: Alabama, Baylor (or Oklahoma),  Florida St (or Clemson), Fresno, Oregon (or Stanford), Ohio State and Louisville. And then rest assured, the bowl selection committees will do everything in their power to ensure the fewest number of undefeated match ups...

Kill yourself if you had Northwestern and the points...

Just hunch, but Maryland will not be ranked this week...

David Pollack is right...

The Pac-12 refs are awful...

Oregon's cheerleaders better show up at Gameday this week...

We called Jameis Winston a liability at the beginning of the year...

Super Play

Miami -3

Other plays (these are terrible)

Titans +3
Eagles +1.5
