Well, Sunday was one of the worst days in the history of The Playhouse. Coming off an undefeated Saturday -- when we also cleansed our souls by donating time and money to charity -- we laid a huge egg, going 0-4. And, quite frankly, none of our plays were even close.

SUPER PLAY OF THE DAY

Michigan St is indeed 4-0. Considering, however, that their wins have come at the expense of Western Michigan, Florida Atlantic, Northern Colorado and hapless Notre Dame, that means close to nothing. The Crew could literally round up 11 guys at a Seattle bus stop and be undefeated against that schedule. Nevertheless, the voters in both polls, who have never been accused of taking their obligation seriously, have seen fit to have the Spartans ranked. Ludicrous. Wisconsin is by far the best team Michigan St has played all season. This baby won't be close. Wisconsin -2.

OTHER PLAYS

Florida St -6.5
Iowa -7.5

RECORD TO DATE

8-12 (40 PERCENT)

  1. Hey Joe,

Just wanted to let you know that I saw some of the Playhouse crew at some strict clubs last Saturday night. I know they are just like any other club, but that is not the point.

Any thoughts of a curfew for the crew this weekend?

Maybe then Sunday will not be so bad??

  2. Script clubs, like you said, are just like any other club, so no need for a curfew. Plus, so many of the honies The Crew rolls with have to be be in pretty early anyway. More focus, that's all we need.
