We're not usually ones to make excuses here in The Playhouse, but last week's 2-6 record clearly has to have an asterisk attached to it. Our number one tang Jenn Sterger was going through a lot personal stuff, dealing with the Brett Favre fiasco and all the unwanted media attention (If you've seen photos of her, you know she's very modest). And as much as you try to block it out, when someone close to you is hurting, you tend to hurt just as much. The main thing was us just being there for her, and admittedly, it took away from our preparation. Jenn, this week is for you, baby.
SUPER PLAY OF THE DAY
Hard for us to go against the 206's own, but today we have to. Washington has two big wins since Steve Sarkisian has taken over as head coach and they both came against his former team, USC. Sark's intimate knowledge the Trojans clearly gave him a tactical advantage in those games, because the Huskies haven't otherwise been competitive quality competition since he's been here. James Rodgers, no James Rodgers, it's hard for us to figure this line, which has been trending UW's way since it opened. Oregon St +1.5
