The Crew has lost two games in row and is somewhat reeling heading into the NCAAs. Sunday's decision to lay down on the Knicks, who are a total mess, was, in retrospect, probably not our best moment. We'll undoubtedly have to pick it up if we want to maintain our current winning percentage, which is still a respectable 59 percent -- but dropping by the minute. We plan to post a full tournament preview Thursday morning (Not really, but we will write a few things and have some plays for tomorrow), so stay tuned for that.

Meanwhile, a word about Tuesday's games before getting to The Super Play of the Day. The Crew doesn't hide the fact that we are total West Coast homers, having lived here virtually our entire lives. Far be it from us to defend the Pac 12 conference, but based on what we saw last night, they weren't the only ones playing horrible basketball this season.

During the ludicrously named First Four, the NCAA's way of insulting you by trying to hide the fact that they are play-in games, Western Kentucky and Mississippi Valley St inflicted irreparable harm upon the America, as W Kentucky won, 59-58, despite 27 turnovers and 31 percent shooting. Not to be outdone, Iona, blew a 25-point lead to BYU, scoring a grand total of 17 points in the last 24 minutes. All in all, it was Pac-12esque basketball. Hopefully it's not a harbinger of things to come.

Super Play of the Day

Lamar -1.5. Pat Knight, the apple not falling far from the tree, is a completely miserable human being, but his team has won six games in a row since he had this melt down Feb 22.
