More Karl Ravech is never a good thing.
Peter Gammons is joining the MLB Network, leaving ESPN after two decades. The move couldn't come soon enough for The Playhouse, as the ESPN brand has deteriorated quicker than the American dollar. Baseball Tonight was once a must-watch, but with hacks such as John Kruk, Eric Young and Arestes Estrada earning more air time of the years, it, like the rest of the network, became increasingly trivial and vapid.
