Sept 18, 2010

Today is opposite day in The Playhouse. We figure since our regular picks have been atrocious, then it's worth a try.

Super Play of the Day

Jake Locker is 1-11 in his career against ranked teams. Nebraska is a top ten team. Washington has struggled to stop even mediocre offenses this season. The Huskers' rushing attack has been potent thus far, complimenting what is one of the nation's best defenses, if not the best. Making matters worse for the Huskies is that the whole state of Nebraska has seemingly traveled to Seattle for the game. The decision is obvious here, so instead take Washington +3.

Other plays

Florida State dropped a bomb on BYU last season, beating the Cougars by nearly four touchdowns in Provo. The speed disparity was stunning that day. Air Force rolled BYU last week, and there is no reason to think the Seminoles won't do the same in the heat of Talahassee. BYU +10.

Air Force has no business being on the same field as Oklahoma, as there isn't a single player on the Falcons' roster that would make the OU's two deep. Air Force +17
