Sept 25, 2010

The Playhouse, being one of the most philanthropic organizations in the Northwest, is running in today's 2010 Seattle Aids Walk and Run. Unlike our picks, we have hit our goal there, raising well over three figures with the help of our loyal reader (again, yes, singular), friends and family.

Hopefully our good deed will bring us some much needed karma, though we tend not to believe in such things.

Super Play of the Day

Stanford is on a roll, riding the arm, and last week the legs, of the first pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, Andrew Luck (That he and Jake Locker are mentioned in the same sentence in terms of being a pro prospect is laughable, by the way). Also throw in that Notre Dame is winless in their last ten meetings against ranked teams, giving up an average of 35 points per game. The Irish have neither the talent nor speed on defense to hang with the Cardinal's pro-style offense. Stanford -4.5

Other plays

USC -22
Oregon State +18

Record to date

5-8 (38.5 percent). It would be a good batting average!
