Pretty good weekend so far for The Crew. We took it easy on the betting side, only making two plays. Both, however, hit, with the Cowboys posting a cover for us on Thanksgiving and The 206 winning straight up today as a seven-point dog. We'll take it, especially after last weekend (record not included). Watching the University of Arizona go down in both football and basketball didn't suck, either.
Another list today, mostly because they are easy to write and fun to read, just like Penthouse Forum. Top five candidates for the new opening at the U:
1.) Jim Harbaugh. If he can coach dudes who score 1500 on their SATs to 11 wins, then imagine what he could do with those who score half that.
2.) Jon Gruden. The Playhouse thinks dude would be a home run in college. With his passion and personality, he was born to recruit.
3.) Chris Peterson. If Peterson loses one game at Miami, he'll play in the BCS title game, not in the Humanitarian Bowl.
4.) Gary Patterson. The U apparently targeted him before they hired Shannon. Some more money this time around might do the trick.
5.) Dennis Erickson. Then ASU would be free to hire Brady Hoke of San Diego St. This has to happen.
SUPER PLAY OF THE DAY
From what we saw from Rusty Smith last week, we're not sure the Titans could play with UNLV. It's never good to back a team that has a defense as bad as Houston's, but Smith is worse. Texans -6
