Looks like we should have pulled the trigger on Niagara last night. They were an easy winner over Siena as a three-point favorite. In our defense, Siena was 15-1 in league play, so it's a bit hard to bet against them in that situation.
JBP is back today with a Grand Canyon State special, which barring a total disaster should allow the crew to hit 60 percent for the first two months of the year.
JBP to date: 52-34 (60.5 percent)
Today's plays: Arizona +8.5 @ Washington; ASU -2 @ Washington St.
This is a lot of points for a team who beat Washington fairly handily not too long ago. Arizona is also playing for their tournament lives. The Huskies, on the other hand, could come in flat after beating Arizona St. in overtime on Thursday to all but clinch the Pac-10 regular season title.
Yes, Washington St is playing well. Arizona State, however, has been a solid road team all year, with wins at UCLA, Arizona and San Diego St. It's also a revenge spot as a result of Washington State's stunning win at ASU as a double-digit underdog earlier this season.
Had a late Playhouse play come in on Geoff Olgive -140 against Stewart Cink. Won't be counting in our our numbers, but it is in fact just more proof of the many opportunities our there, regardless of the sport.
