Twitter

A lot happen this week. President Obama nominated the first Hispanic to the Supreme Court. GM reached a deal with bond holders to avoid financial ruin. North Korean tested not one but two nuclear missiles in defiance of the international community.

All of which pales in comparison to me signing up for Twitter yesterday. Let me tell you it is awesome. Who knew that following my girls Alyssa Milano and Paris would be so interesting?

Paris, for one, loves watching Lost with Doug. They are, in fact, both "so addicted" to the show. She also watched the Lakers-Nuggets game last night. Nevermind that she wrote "playoffs here we come" after its conclusion, though it was merely the nineteenth playoff game the Lakers have played this year. She finished up the night by going to get some "yummy Italian" food around midnight.

From the short time I have been following Milano, I have come to find out that she loves baseball -- and apparently pizza. All interesting if you ask me.

The question I am now wrestling with is thus: Why should I care world events when 140 character "tweets" are equally illuminating? It's pretty easy, I shouldn't. Can't wait to hear her what they have to say today!
