Another miss on the Super Play yesterday, as ASU somehow beat Oregon St. by double digits last night. The Beavers should be ashamed of themselves. Incidentally, so should The Crew, who has yet to hit a Super Play this year. Our 'other plays,' however, are perfect, which seems reasonable, because they are mostly picks we throw in there at the end to fill up space.

A couple thoughts/stats before the not-so Super Play of the Day...

Tim Tebow is a winner. That is inarguable. The Denver defense, therefore, was entirely to blame for last night's embarrassing loss to New England despite America's favorite athlete completing nine of 26 passes for 126 yards, most of which came when the Broncos were already down 35 points. The Patriots do have the 31st ranked pass defense in the league, so it's understandable...

Oregon quarterback Darron Thomas on Saturday opted to enter the NFL Draft. If Bronson Pinchot, the gifted actor who once portrayed Balky on the 1980s sitcom 'Perfect Strangers,' would have declared himself available, it would only be slightly less ridiculous. As ESPN Pac-12 blogger Ted Miller pointed out this morning, he made himself a free-agent, because dude will not be drafted...

Yesterday, four NFL tight ends -- Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez, Vernon Davis and Jimmy Graham -- combined for 28 receptions, 483 yards and six touchdowns...

Kentucky hasn't covered a spread in 14 straight games...

Home teams are 6-0 ATS in the playoffs, favorites are 5-1 and five of the six games have gone over the total...

Super Play of the Day

The Giants' defensive front is as good as Tebow is bad. The Crew likes the Giants to put some pressure on Aaron Rodgers and keep it close. New York +7.5
