Another game, another flameout Saturday, when Ohio St couldn't hold a 13-point lead, resulting in yet another loss for us. Meanwhile, going into the national championship game The Playhouse's NBA expert tells us that Kentucky's Anthony Davis could play professionally some day. Keep an eye out for that kid.

Couple thoughts before we get to the Super Play of the Day...

The Master's tees off Thursday and Tiger Woods as of Monday morning is a +350 favorite at Sportsbook.com. Absurd.

Betting on golf is always a hairy proposition to begin with, mostly due to the relative quality and size of the fields. But this week you also have to consider that Tiger hasn't won a major in nearly four years.

We really, really like him to win, don't get us wrong. He's putting it in play off the tee, seems to have found his stroke on the greens once again and, perhaps most importantly, the course is tailor made for him (Remember, he finished fourth two years ago after not playing for six months following the revelation that he was living a parallel life as the world's worst dad and husband). We're, however, not willing to put money on it, because at that price, against 92 players, it's not close to being worth the risk...

Major League Baseball also gets it going in earnest this week, with most teams opening up Friday. It's yet another sport upon which we lose money, handicapping it just as poorly as any other. We're nothing if not consistent.

Still, we are looking forward to it. It's 162 games of absolute Summer goodness, especially here in Seattle, where the temperature hovers around 75 for most of July, August and September -- also months incidentally when the Mariners are more than 20 games back in the standings and unloading pricey veterans who can't play for younger, cheaper players who can't play.

At any rate, we'll be posting a couple picks for season win totals Thursday, when The Playhouse will release its comprehensive (not really) baseball betting preview...

In our worst decision of 2012 -- which is a mouthful -- we spent two minutes watching the Women's Final Four Sunday night. Horrid. Listen, we have nothing against the players themselves. In fact, we think it's nice that basketball is opening up some doors for them that in a lot of cases would never have been there otherwise. But that doesn't change the fact that it's unwatchable, clumsy basketball, close to something you might find being played by 35-year old white dudes at the Y...

Super Play of the Day

We like Kentucky -6.5, meaning everyone should take a loan out of their 401K or a second mortgage on their home to put it on Kansas.
