So much for ignorance being bliss with regard to college basketball. After having not paid attention all year, we were sort of hoping it might work in our favor come tournament time, eliminating some of the normal prejudices that build up over the course of a four month season and allowing us to wager a bit more impartially. Not quite. We have not only lost both of our Super Plays thus far, but our national champion went down in the first round, as New Mexico was upset by Harvard late Thursday as a 12-point favorite. Shrewd.
