December 6, 2009

We continued our strong run yesterday, cashing in The Playhouse Money Line Super Play of the Year with Alabama. Not having Percy Harvin and Louis Murphy doesn't really matter when you're up against Mississippi St. or overrated LSU, but against the Tide it does. Those teams could play ten times and Alabama would win seven of them. Florida is nothing special this year.

Speaking of nothing special, Texas -- and by extension, the Big 12 -- is a total fraud. TCU, the crew is convinced, is a far more complete team. Of course, there's no way to prove that definitely. But there is also no way prove that the Longhorns are definitely better than TCU, either.

The Horned Frogs beat Clemson on the road and hammered both Utah and BYU. Texas doesn't have three wins like that. Never a big proponent of a playoff, The Playhouse is officially on board.

Super Play of the Day

Kansas City is worse than some of Tiger's texts. They are, however, 16-1 all time at home against the Broncos in the month of December. Also, Denver is 1-9 ATS in December coming off a double digit win. Kansas City +6.5

Other Plays

Seattle +1
Arizona +7.5 (college hoops)

Record to date: 41-37-1 (52.6 percent)

Unfortunate Image From Yesterday

I know our man wants to support his Hawaii Warriors, but this is totally regrettable.

Even More Unfortunate Image from Yesterday

Maurice Clemmons, who shot four police officers last week in Tacoma, Wa., is only slightly more unlikeable than Tim Tebow.

  1. Personally, I thought the Tebow image was one of the most gratifying images of the decade.
