The Crew went to Vegas this week. Getting back to the belly of the beast, rubbing elbows and picking the brains of other talented handicappers is always a valuable learning experience. It also, however, made one thing abundantly clear: Our former hometown is a total hole, dripping in obesity, jean shorts and totally inappropriate ink. Moving Joe Berger Inc.'s headquarters north was one of the best decisions we've ever made.

Super Play of the Day

Today's Super Play is based on nothing else besides Desmond Howard likes the other side. Illinois isn't a great team, but they are undefeated and have a win against ASU that looks better all the time. Ohio St is horrendous, blowing a three-touchdown lead to Nebraska last week, which was significant only because their dreadful offense scored enough to actually have a three touchdown lead. Illinois can stop the run and quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase, while not Aaron Rodgers, is mobile and can make something happen when the play breaks down.

 Illinois -3

Other Plays
Indiana +40
Florida St -12
Auburn +2.5

Super Plays: 7-5 (58 percent)
Overall: 19-17 (53 percent)
