Thanksgiving

Today is perhaps The Crew's favorite day of the year. It's a close competition between today and the first Thursday of the NCAA tournament. It's a time for family, football, good food -- and not some bratty kids complaining about their gifts, all of which is why when The Playhouse adds to their family we have every intention of ruining the whole Santa Claus thing by age three, maybe four if they are well behaved.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving we have compiled a list, one, however, with a little twist. It's the top five things we are not thankful for. We stole it from yesterday's Dan Patrick Show, yes. But ESPN's 'talent' pilfers their stuff all the time, so we don't feel that bad about it.

1.) Our record. We know officially what it is, but in order for you to know you have to be a subscriber.

2.) The record of the weathermen/women in Seattle over the last couple days. We were supposed to get maybe a few flurries this week, nothing major. It snowed all day Monday and is snowing as we write this.

3.) ESPN. It's awful. We thought they jumped the shark with 'Who's Now?' a couple years ago. But after sporadically watching their network lately, they jump the shark every day with the crap they put on. Hello, Mike and Mike and Sportsnation.

4.) Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth. Just awful. They think they are witty, smart and entertaining. They are, in fact, smug, condescending and pretentious. Jim Nantz's ridiculous, "Hello, Friends" intro is completely awesome compared to anything these two assholes do. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman should do every game.

5.) The Palin Family.

SUPER PLAY OF THE DAY

Rooting for the Cowboys rubs. But we like the way the have seemingly put things together since Jason Garrett replaced Wade Phillips two weeks ago. Look for Dallas to keep this one close at home after a short week. Cowboys +4.5

OTHER PLAYS

Sure winner. This is how to carve a turkey, bitch asses.
