What a great day for The Crew Saturday, posting a perfect, 3-0 record. While we're certainly gratified by the results, let's not get too excited, because, afterall, that's all it was: one day.  Sure, we'd like to think we'll go undefeated, but it's simply not going to happen.  Let's just hope the good far outweighs the bad.


Special Friday Super Play of the Day


The Playhouse, of course, will face accusations of bias based on tonight's Super Play. We can assure you, however, that the pick was not at all the result of management's ties to Arizona State. The game any way you look at it simply does not set up well for the Tigers


For starters, it's going to be hotter than an all-female Arizona State dorm tonight in Tempe, where the temperature at kickoff will be in the triple digits. Sure, it's hot during the summer in Missouri, too, but it's not Phoenix hot. 


We also have an inexperienced quarterback in James Franklin, who looked very, very average last week in a lackluster win against Miami-OH, making his first road start after a short week of preparation. The Sun Devils have a fast, aggressive defense that seems tailor made to take advantage.


Overall, though, this pick isn't necessarily about who Arizona State is. It's more about who Missouri is not.
