Not a good look
Absolutely horrid day for The Crew yesterday, taking a big, fat O-fer, our first, and hopefully, last one of the season. Injuries may have played a part in our Super Play going down, as FSU QB EJ Manuel went down with what appeared to be a shoulder injury early in the second half. But to be honest, he was really bad before exiting, so him staying healthy probably wouldn't have mattered much. The pick, however, wasn't anywhere near as unfortunate as FSU kicker Dustin Hopkins (right), who embarrassed himself, his university and America by wearing gold tap shoes last night.

We should have to pee in a cup for making a play on Arizona, losers of seven straight games to FBS opponents after getting rolled by Stanford last night. The Cardinal lost their best defender and receiving threat to injuries during the game but still dismantled the Wildcats, whose running game is totally impotent.

Super Play of the Day

The NFL schedule makers dealt the Raiders a bad hand by having them play the late Monday night game followed by a cross-country trip to Buffalo and 1 pm kick against the Bills this afternoon. Historically West Coast teams play poorly on the East Coast in early games anyway. Considering Oakland will also be coming off a short week, it's hard to believe they'll be at their best.  This number has moved a bit in Buffalo's direction since it opened, but we still like the situation.

  Buffalo -4

Other picks

Pittsburgh -14
Bears +6

Super Plays: 3-2 (60 percent)
Overall: 7-8 (47 percent)
