Not a good week for The Crew, going a combined 1-5 over the Saturday and Sunday action. We had a couple near misses with the Bills and Miami-Oh that could have changed our fortunes a bit, but in the high-stakes game of low-stakes gambling near misses mean jack.

The Super Play of the Day

Florida St. essentially matched Oklahoma for three and a half quarters last week before finally succumbing to the Sooners, 23-13. FSU, who had national championship aspirations at the start of the year, based their entire season on that game and put everything they had into it, both physically and emotionally -- which is why we expect them to suffer a major hangover today at Clemson, where the Seminoles haven't won since 1999. Also, there's late word that FSU starting quarterback EJ Manuel will not play because of a shoulder injury, meaning freshman Clint Trickett, who looks like Paris Hilton in pads, will get the start.

 Clemson - 2.5

Other picks
Washington -1
Arizona St/USC over 53.5
