The Super Play is on fire, folks, winning yet again yesterday on Washington, which, quite frankly, could have easily won outright if the Huskies -- or more specifically, quarterback Keith Price -- would have placed more value on holding onto the football. In The Crew's humble and totally worthless opinion, USC is not a good football team, and will lose at least two more times this season. We also bet Texas, which should disqualify us from making picks next week.

We'll have a very abbreviated Playhouse today, somewhat due to apathy, but we also need to go on a run before the games start and we woke up later than usual this morning. A couple stats and one thought before getting to the Super Play of the Day, which is now 9-4-1 for the year...

Derek Jeter, who fracture his ankle last night, has extremely limited range, and at this point in his career is not a potent offense force. Hopefully dude gets well and is able to continue playing, but his absence in the Yankees lineup is being vastly overblown. Vastly...

The Cowboys are 9-4 ATS as a dog since 2010, according to Covers.com. Dallas, for whatever reason, seems to thrive when everyone is writing them off and completely tank when the expectations are high. While it won't be one our plays today, the Cowboys at +3.5 are worth a look today...

The Sharp-Square Report from former Caesar's sportsbook director Todd Fuhrman: The Pros are on the Cowboys (+3.5), Lions (+3.5) and Packers (+3), while the Joes are one the Patriots (-4), Ravens (-3.5) and Bengals (-3)...

The weather forecast in Seattle calls for heavy rain throughout today's Seahawks-Patriots game. Some bettors have taken notice, with the total down to 43 after opening at 44.5. While Seattle weathermen are notoriously bad, they are promising a Noah's Ark-type storm to hit just before game time. Do with that what you wish...

The Playhouse ran into Patrick 'Seton' O'Connor of Dan Patrick Patrick show fame yesterday in the city. We felt a little uncomfortable stalking the dude on Twitter, but he posted a picture of Fox Sports Grill, which is about a five-minute walk from our downtown Seattle headquarters. As big fans of the show, we couldn't resist heading down there to say, 'hi.' Dude was very nice. Good peeps.
